Walnut Grove CC is actively seeking the right person to fill the golf course mechanic position. The current mechanic is retiring after 26 years and will stay part time as needed.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

· Maintaining all mowers, trimmers, blowers, carts and tractors

· Daily and weekly reel mower adjustments

· Help keep a clean, safe and organized shop

· Keeping maintenance logs of serviced equipment

· Occasional troubleshooting/repairing electric golf carts

· Keeping all mowers blades and reels sharp

· Creating a pro-active preventive maintenance program

· Winter reel and bed knife grinding
