Maketewah Country Club Cincinnati is looking for a Technician/Mechanic to join the Grounds Team!

Classification: Full-Time, 40-hour work week

Shift: Monday through Friday 6:30am-3pm; must have the ability to adjust schedule for weather-related conditions. No overtime required.

Pay: $36-$45 per hour  

Responsibilities:

Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the Golf Course’s equipment and machinery in the Golf Course’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding member service and financial profitability. This is a full-time year-round position, requiring an individual to be versed in hydraulic and electrical systems in managing a golf course. Excellent knowledge and problem-solving skills for small engines and grind of reel-style mowers is required. This position also requires the individual to supply tools in order to properly do the job.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

 Ensure that equipment for the golf course is in excellent working order.

 Troubleshoot any hydraulic / electrical issues that may arise.

 Maintain, monitor, repair and conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of golf course equipment and machinery; our fleet of equipment is mostly Toro.

 Conduct scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance.

 Work directly with the Superintendent on budget management.

 Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention using an online system.

 Order needed parts.

 Provide maintenance to gasoline, diesel and electrical powered equipment including oil changes and lubrication.

 Perform repairs and maintenance to small tools such as edgers and blowers.

 Performs mower grinding, sharpening, and related tasks.

 This role requires working outdoors and indoors in extreme weather conditions. Heat and humidity are to be expected.
